Padmashri Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Medical College at Vilad
Ghat, Ahmednagar was founded in the year
2004.
The institute is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI),
New Delhi in December, 2008 and is belongs to Maharashtra University of Health
Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.
The institute has acquired remarkable achievements both in
terms of academic & health services at grass root level.
The College offers undergraduate course in Medicine (MBBS) with
an intake of 150 students per year. The Medical complex is situated in an area
of 33 acres in the beautiful scenario of Vilad Ghat, Ahmednagar.
The institute is in the western state of Maharashtra and the
affiliation of the medical college is to Maharashtra University of Health
Sciences, Nashik.

MBBS seats are allocated to the eligible students who have qualified &
obtained ranks in the held entrance examination known as AMUPMDC (Association
of Managements of Unaided Private Medical & Dental Colleges, Maharashtra)
and the seats are given through centralized counseling.
